Rolex unveils 4 new Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 models
The long-awaited news about the new Rolex models was not limited to just one direction. In addition to an updated line of diving watches, this fall the brand also introduced four new models for the ladies' collection, the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31, in Rolesor cases that combine Oystersteel and 18K white gold. The watch is also notable for its bright and unusual dial colors, which motivate people to buy a Rolex watch.
The first of these models features an eggplant-colored sunburst dial with Roman numerals. The index at the 6 o'clock position is decorated with diamonds, the rest, like the hands, are made of 18-carat white gold. The watch bezel is adorned with 46 diamonds. The other three models have fluted white gold bezels and dials in mint sunburst, lacquered white and dark gray sunburst.
The case of the new watch has a diameter of 31 mm and, according to the manufacturer, is guaranteed to withstand immersion up to 100 meters. The main body is made from Oystersteel, an alloy of 904L steel commonly used in the aerospace industry for its corrosion resistance comparable to precious metals. The watch also features a Rolex Twinlock system for increased water resistance. The dial and case are protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with the brand's classic Cyclops magnifying lens above the date window. The screw-down case back has a special grooved edge that only allows Rolex watchmakers to access the movement inside the watch (first introduced in 1926).
Hidden inside the new Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 is the self-winding In-house caliber 2236, which contains the Syloxi spring (first introduced in 2014 in the Datejust Pearlmaster 43), which is up to 10 times more accurate than a classic spring in the event of an impact. The movement has a power reserve of approximately 55 hours.
The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 meets the Superlative Chronometer certification, which Rolex revised in 2015. After passing many tests, the watch has shown excellent results in terms of precision, power reserve, water resistance and self-winding function. To earn the Superlative Chronometer certification, a watch must show a deviation of no more than -2 / + 2 seconds per day.
Depending on the model, the Datejust 31 price varies significantly, from $ 7800 for the white dial to $ 16 for the eggplant-colored version with a diamond bezel.
Let us remind you that the beauty of this brand's watches is that, in addition to their unconditional quality and prestige, they guarantee the opportunity to profitably sell Rolex watches even years later. The huge popularity of accessories from this particular manufacturer, whose recognizable style does not become obsolete over the years, as well as limited production allow the models to retain most of their price. And in our watch pawnshop you can easily and quickly evaluate the accessory and, if you are satisfied with the proposed amount, sell it as soon as possible.
